iso-Butyl Methacrylate (IBMA)

iso-Butyl Methacrylate (IBMA) is an ester of Methacrylic acid and is used as a raw material component in the synthesis of polymers. iso-Butyl Methacrylate (IBMA) is a functional monomer consisting of a methacrylate group with a characteristic high reactivity and a cyclic hydrophobic group. iso-Butyl Methacrylate (IBMA) forms homopolymers and copolymers which can be obtained with acrylic acid and its salts, amides, and esters, as well as methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic esters, butadiene, and other monomers.

iso-Butyl Methacrylate (IBMA) easily entering into the reaction of accession with a wide range of organic and inorganic substances, is used for the synthesis of organic low molecular weight substances.
