LOVISC SBM-900

LOVISC SBM-900 is a new generation low viscosity ester that is excellent for use in offshore drilling applications. LOVISC SBM-900 provides an ideal Synthetic Base Fluid that is biodegradable, non-carcinogenic, and has very low toxicity. It harnesses the environment-friendly feature of water-based mud (WBM) and the superb lubricity of oil-based mud (OBM) into one. LOVISC SBM-900 is stable at high temperatures above 150°C.

LOVISC SBM-900 is applicable to all types of oil and geothermal drilling both offshore and onshore. Precaution on the use of excess lime or alkalinity should be observed as this will lower the maximum use temperature.
