Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA)
Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) is an organic compound, used principally in manufacturing a wide range of products like polyester fiber, resin, film and it is one of the most important chemicals as the major raw material to synthesize polyethylene terephthalate. The end-products made from this PTA find application today in all walks of life – in end-products such as clothing, upholstery, containers, packaging films, resins, geo-fiber, etc. Insoluble in water.
Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA)
Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) is an organic compound. This is an isomer of Phthalic acid and Terephthalic acid. The product is used as an intermediate in the production of unsaturated polyester resins, followed by polyester and alkyd resins (mainly for surface coatings) and inks, reinforced plastics and packaging applications. Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) is also used as a comonomer in the production of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottle resins. It provides excellent hardness, corrosion and stain resistance, hydrolytic and thermal stability, and low resin levels.
Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA)
Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) is an ester of Methacrylic Acid and Glycidol. The characteristic of the property of Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) is its dual functionality – due to the methacrylic and epoxy groups. This gives it the possibility to combine the chemical properties of acrylates, reacting with styrene, by acrylates or by ethylene, and epoxies. The epoxy group of Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) is capable of different chemical transformations both in the monomer and in the polymers.
Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) reacts with different substances (amines, phenols, ketones, carbonaceous acids, which contain halogen and others). It makes it possible to synthesize many new chemical connections. Small additives of Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) and its derivatives to different polymeric materials improve their mechanical, optical, adhesive characteristics, chemical, and atmospheric durability.
Product type: Methacrylate Monomer
Applications areas:
- Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA) is used for improving the quality and reaching the optimum performance properties of varnishes and paints, natural rubbers, latexes, sealing compounds, industrial protective coatings, synthetic fibers, paper, thermoplastics, structural and ion-exchange materials, used in polygraphy, automobile construction, radio engineering and microelectronics, biotechnology and in medicine.

Lauryl Methacrylate 1215 F (LMA 1215 F)
Lauryl Methacrylate 1215 F (LMA 1215 F) is an ester of Methacrylic Acid and is used as a raw material component in the synthesis of polymers. Lauryl Methacrylate 1215 F (LMA 1215 F) is a monofunctional monomer consisting of a (meth)acrylate group with a characteristic high reactivity and a cyclic hydrophobic group. Lauryl Methacrylate 1215 F (LMA 1215 F) forms homopolymers and copolymers. SPILL-CARE 300
SPILL-CARE 300 is designed to quickly disperse any oil or hydrocarbon spills with the utmost concern for the safety of the environment and the responding team. The product is a plant-based, non-hazardous, non-toxic, biodegradable formulation that expedites the removal of spilled hydrocarbon oils. It works by micro emulsifying and reducing hydrocarbon compounds into extremely small particles by breaking up surface oil slicks and disperses the oil as fine droplets into the water column for the fast bacterial breakdown.
SPILL-CARE 300 is used to clean up oil spills on bodies of water along shorelines including breakwaters, bulkheads, and piers that trapped oil; coarse sand beaches where petroleum has penetrated into sub-surfaces; marsh areas, wetlands, and mangroves where oils are trapped in the vegetation; gravel and rocky shorelines where stranded oil has become inaccessible, public beaches, fisheries, hatcheries, estuaries, and other ecologically sensitive areas.
- 100% Plant-based, Zero petroleum solvent formulation.
- Enhances biodegradation of residual petroleum hydrocarbon.
- High volume stock for quicker response during massive oil spills.
SPILL- CARE 300 may be applied with a variety of spraying and washing equipment depending on the scale and type of surface to be cleaned. The product is shipped to the site in 20 liters or 200 liters drum for direct application to oil. In small applications, Spill Care 300 may be applied with hand sprays or with portable pumps, hoses, and nozzles to spray the product onto oiled surfaces and shorelines. In large oil spill cleanup, Spill Care 300 can be sprayed as a concentrate or diluted depending on the type and amount of oil spilled, the extent of weathering, and other site-specific conditions. Pressure spraying can be used to hasten the removal of the oil/bio-solve mixture from oiled surfaces or to enhance the dispersion/emulsification of the floating oil slicks.
